The philosophy behind the Showcase tournament series is to give teams (both club and school) the opportunity to play in several competitive tournaments at an affordable price point.
All tournaments are open to any team (AAU, YBOA, school sponsored, etc) and are guaranteed three game minimum. Games will consist of two (2) twenty minute halves. The clock will only stop for team called timeouts and during the last minute of each half for all deadballs. Games will be played by TSSAA rules.
The age determining criteria for each tournament will be the age of competing player on September 1, 2008 (boys) and July 1, 2007 (girls). Each team will be allowed a maximum of three (3) grade exemptions. This means that a child may compete in an age group lower than they only if they are in the corresponding grade. The grade exemptions for each age is as follows:
9U - 3rd Grade
10U - 4th Grade
11U - 5th Grade
12U - 6th Grade
13U - 7th Grade
14U - 8th Grade
15U - 9th Grade
16U - 10th Grade
Individual trophies awarded to all players on 1st and 2nd place teams!
